We checked on our winter beehives yesterday at 4,500 ft on beautiful Andeline Family Farm in Spanish Springs. 🐝 All the colonies are going strong, and this year we’re leaving 10 hives there to help pollinate their tulips, wildflowers, and sunflowers. We just welcomed 7 fresh nucs straight from almond pollination season in the valley. These hardworking girls have spent weeks doing some of California's most important agricultural work, and now they get to call the mountains home.
They're settling into their new hives with a little sugar water to tide them over until the Sierra wildflowers come online — and trust us, the nectar up here is worth the wait.

We took a 32ft 1982 Airstream, completely gutted it, and rebuilt it from the ground up into the cozy beauty she is today. Nestled on our 22-acre farm with a dedicated parking spot, she’ll soon be available for stays.
